MWRT part 10: Boise and the way home

On Saturday afternoon we drove out of Utah and headed up I-15 towards Idaho. It was a fairly quick drive, and we made good time in the heat and wind. At one point, we raced a thunderstorm across southern Idaho and watched lightning strike on our left, blue sky on our right. We drilled 8 tumbleweed as we drove through the dust cloud and came back into a sunny sky.

The one that everyone asks about when you go to Peru: Did you visit Machu Picchu? Of course we did!

Olympic Weekend, Day 2

We woke up on Sunday morning to a world entirely different from the one we fell asleep in. Our sunny beach was gone, socked in completely with fog. We cooked sausage over the Coleman grill, then packed up and turned our wheels back to Highway 112, turning onto 113 to take 101 back to Port Angeles. Our one stop on the way was at Lake Crescent. We decided that we're coming back some day to hike in this area!

Map of our Adventures

I like google maps- here is roughly our route for the past two weeks! It isn't quite finished yet, but we're up to Firenze/Florence...
